Pre-launch Summer Open Day Sat 3rd July
Rise early to be on the radio! We're having a fun and full on day with kmfm presenter John Webster (Webbo) linking via an outside broadcast to the Adam Dowling breakfast show from Haguelands between 7am and 10am. There'll be a celebrity style cook off during the show, and other competitions for kids running all day long, so there are plenty of opportunities to win prizes, from vouchers for the Bistro to a Family Cookery Class. The Fun Yard will be open, the Bistro is serving delicous food as always and we have the Eating Hut for snacks, ice creams and drinks plus picnic areas if you want to bring your own food. Don't miss it!
Grand Opening Sat 10th July
The Maize Maze will be opening, weather permitting, so come down and be one of the first to conquer the maze. The Fun Yard will be open as well as the Bistro, Eating Hut and Farm Shop so there's plenty to do.

About the Maize Maze
Maize mazes are walk-round mazes made entirely from corn and maize.
The idea became popular across the pond before moving to Europe, where
they are becoming an appealing tourist attraction on farms across the
country.
Haguelands Village acquired the tremendously fun and popular Maize Maze moving it from its previous site at Honeychild Farm to the village in Romney Marsh.
If you're looking for a charming and fun-filled day out in Kent,
Haguelands Village should be top of your list. We aim to vanquish
the boredom of half-terms and holidays by incorporating several farm
based activities for yourselves and your kids to enjoy.
The Maize Maze is also an ideal venue for team building days, complimented by the facilities on offer at our conference venue.
Other activities
With the help and assistance of the previous owners, we aim to build
and improve on the success enjoyed by the maze over the past five
years.
We also plan to enhance the experience of the Maize Maze
by adding new lawn games, football games, a Bouncy castle, face
painting and palm/tarot readings (only on certain days) farm animals –
as well as the delicious and fresh local produce available in our Bistro and Farm Shop.
The Maize Maze and its surrounding features will
hopefully become one of the few places to see Alpacas in Kent. Take our
Animal Trail to our Picnic and Animal area or jump on our Tractor &
Trailer ride which is great for all the family.
We will also be including torch-lit night-time maze adventures,
along with barbeques and team-building days. These are just a few of
the developments currently in the works, which will be confirmed on the
site in the coming months.
All in all, the Maize Maze is great fun and an
ideal outing for children and adults alike - come down to Haguelands
and experience an entertaining and fun filled day out in Kent.
